Respectfully forwarded to Lieut M Frank Gallagher for the information of the Asst Comr. I sent Mr. Mahony down to Lexington Oglethorpe County to get up a School having had a great many applications for a Teacher from the Freedmen but a rebellious spirit controls that Town and they will neither sell or lease a building for such purposes
