Dear Doris

I have just finished the jacket and there are a few moments to spare before Pa gets home, so I think I will begin my weekly letter to you folks. I have been busy all this week, Lena comes home tonight I suppose here as to Boston, if here she will arrive around midnight sometime, so that we shall leave the door unlocked for her. It has been a cold stormy week and I hope it will change sometime. We got some coal today, so I guess we can manage to keep warm for a while at least, 'tis awful windy today, dark clouds are going over and making cold weather for us. I have had your old sailor suite [[suit]] on the line blowing also the grey one, you should get some wear out of both rather than buy new these hard times. I had to hear of your appointment. Dick Leonard has got to raise $2400 also Amy will have, if she decides to sign up
