Sunday forenoon.

We have no good news to write to day on the contrary only sad news. Thursday Evening I was called on the Phone and told that Chas Wentworth was dead quite sudden shock. Young Cheslin wife was the one to talk asking me to see to arrangements here but not liking the decision. I started for evening Friday [[farnm?]] after already got there at noon. found Chas had be not feeling well for a few day. had called the Dr. then Thursday a hard strok and found [[?]] Thursday noon  they asked me to attend (Bert seemed to be the head for them all) to the [[?]]. the funeral will be held to day in the Methodist Church. they did think at first to have only a service at the [[?]]  [[Homer?]] & Susie are to meet us at our house and go to Church. I have an Auto for us four  Alice & Percy are in Maine. Your Ma may write after the Funeral this afternoon. we have had a fairly cool pleasant week but it is looking very cloudy to day seems like showers. I forgot to tell you last week that Lorames was found the week before died sudden. only wish it might have happened years ago  I dont think I will send a paper this week. you know there are no Sunday trains out frm Boston. only in the morning one that gets here about 9 or a few minutes past
