Dear Doris:
I am yawning away like a sleepy-head even though I lay in bed this morning until about 8.30. I imagine that we shall all be asleep ere long.

About the Adelphum, - I have not received one - in fact I never have. They seem to have counted me out on that altogether although I believe my dues have once or twice been intended to cover its subscription price, but please do not trouble to send your copy to me as I probably should not read it if I had it, since I do not ever get to the school papers as they come in.

Your father went in to Waterman's a week or so ago and had them regulate the flow of the fountain pen your friend at Bedford Hills and gave him. I am writing to you now with it and find it a delight. Before it did not flow freely enough.
