Dear Doris-

This has been a busy week I have just got home from berrying we all started about eight and went into the woods there in front of the Donalds, where Pa got his berries two weeks ago and got nine quarts of berries were gone abot two hours and a half. just as we were about ready to start for home we saw a big black snake. Lena and Dr Shores went to the movies together last night and when she came hom, brought me a pink ice cream, she had no sooner got home with it than Pa came in with his pint. So we had a plenty for once and Bob had his portion also. Shores came up yesterday afternoon and stayed several hours she played on the piano while Lena and I worked, they are going to walk this afternoon. While we were coming hom this forenoon we came across a lot of the sweets pepper bush which we gathered, it is in its prime. Our cucumbers are growing fine we pick off one or two a day enough to keep us a going, all we want, pa dont eat them. the black berry bushes over in the hen yard are bearing beautiful berries, they are very sweet jucy berries, we all wish you could be here to eat them
