I has a very Serene  [[?]] at Curt and had to be attended to quick Mrs. [[Pye?]]. came home yesterday but is not able to take hold but [[Pye?]] says he will [[?]] tomorrow, it looks as if the [[?]] Road would open before long the track is nearly all ready but I think they will have to wait the public [[?]] com. approved so it may start before long we are to have a great welcome home day here Labor day the [[?]] voted [[?]] to carry the thing along a big parade see to a dinner for the boys and us one but them are to feed no outsiders at all it is cloudy [[?]] some and looks to be some more rain but the papers say rain for the next two or three days.
