to gather it makes money slow, we are going to send a small box by Express this week with a few things in it. You may like a few chestnuts that Lena and your mother have picked up do to boil I guess we have had a week of nice warm weather and it bids fair to continue. Hope so but I am going to get putty and fix the storm window so I can put them on in a hurry as I expect it will be cold before long and it will save coal if we get them on early but to day it is above 70 So [[South]] wind did you get Lena paper off all right  What do you think of the idea? she will not begin school until the 19th as it look now perhaps not then. we had a party up on the Hill making considerable noise last night about 1 oclock have not found out much about as yet. don't want to know too much. I guess this will do for to day.
