it seems she is stopping there. Pa

I have planted Sidneys sun flour sees around the sespool but dont know as they will come up it is very dry there, yesterday I set out fifty three [[strikethrough]] lettuce [[/strikethough]] tomato plants over to the old place, I was used up all day and in the night my bones ached. I got all heated up in the sun, my face was ready to burst from blood pressure, and in the afternoon I cleaned the open chamber and watered all the young plants I have transplanted our land over here is terrible dry. My lettuce plants are they only ones that have stood the transplanting. both Leonards and Drakes are dead the did'nt give them the care, I watered mine twice and three times a day & they are growing. I gave Mrs Griffin about a doz salvia plants, and a fern, she said the sword fern I gave her years ago died this winter she was much pleased and Pa also. I got up early and made a rhubarb pie for dinner and Pa brought up a box of berries when he came home last night from the store. Pa and I hunted the house over from attic to cellar last Saturday for the little blue slip on it was very cold here and we had a frost at night but we havent found that sweater yet, ask Sid if he can throw any light upon the matter
