this is good weather to clean carpets and I want to get it down before hot weather sets in, for then, I dont feel like it so much. Edith Wayland got home from her sisters in Maine Tuesday. She left her better but with a bad kidney trouble. Edith has put her foot down that she will lend no more fish markets Fridays for Johnnie, so he will have to put in the box hereafter or do it himself. Well now I will try and finish this letter I have just finish tacking my carpet and putting down the little hall one and putting the room to rights. now it is most time for Pa to be coming home from the cemetery meeting, and for me to be thinking of my supper, I have got a whipped cream pie for one thing, and beans and berry pie, also cake and [[?]], so that will answer. this has been a very sunny day with us, and just the right temperature. a good day for tramping. I presume you two are imploring it out of doors.
