Richmond Va, Oct. 30th 1935.

Write me a line so I may know Dorris address, not that I expect to see her but would like to know.

Dear Cousin:

I wonder if you will be surprised to learn I am here with Talbot and Celia, have been here this is the third week, will be here all of next week and then think will be leaving for home. Came into Washington Friday Oct. 11th was met by Talbot and Celia, after supper staid over night at The George Mason. as it was a quiet place, and we wished to take the Skyline drive which is 3600 ft over the mountain tops, part of the time we were in clouds so we could not see much, other times we came into sunshine so we looked down in the clouds below us, ee got into Richmond around six at night, Have been on several drives, taking in Wakefield the birthplace of Washington, also Stratford Hall the birthplace of Lee, here I think they think more of Lee than Washington, that is more is said about him. We have been to Yorktown and Williamsburg
