death. The old people are passing seven old men around eighty one last week nearest neighbor around ninety. Now there are four of us over eighty women, when we are gone there will be a change in the place I presume the young folks may make changes. It seems strange to me that I should still keep this side so long. Have been in the way of writing each year and sending Christmas cards to Clara in Maine last years letter was not answered that would make it two years since I heard from her. I wondered if she was living, felt something had happened, so this year I will wrote again, her sons wife wrote Clara was not able to write nor so she could not remember much just her girlhood, only flashes of her married life, nothing of late
