[21 Feb 1926]

My dear Lucy,

I've been meaning to send you a line for some time but am slow in letter writing. Thank you for your letter - am always glad to hear from you for it is the only way I can hear any thing about Stoughton folks now. Was sorry to hear of Edith's trouble and hope she is much better now. Sickness & trouble come to all soon or late

by Sidney & Arthur. I laughed well at the story.

I suppose you have a lot of snow just as we have. I am so tired of it & will be so glad when it is all gone! it is piled high on each side of the railroad tracks & in the gutters & all traffic has to go in the tracks. In town of course it has been carted out of the streets but elsewhere travelling either by auto or sleigh is well nigh impossible. Rain is predicted & then probably "a flood" - Oh for an ark.

Cordially yours
Addie-
