Dear Cousin Lucy

I would like very much to hear from you. If you don't feel able to write, perhaps your companion will kindly send me a few lines. I am eighty-one & still going I think this summer at Saco Beach, Maine, has been good for me. Ma & I have spent thirty-four summers there. It used to be the whole family - seven, counting the maid. But now it is only the two of us. Our oldest child, Ralph Wentworth, as you know died in Buffalo in 1932. Ruth the next oldest, now 47, was married last May after teaching 25 years in Salem High School. She married an old school-mate friend friend of hers, & they live in Peabody in a house which they have built. Eliot now 41 is supt. of one of the Strathmore Paper
