Sir

In the case of Anderson Harris, I have given instructions to Mr Roberts of your neighborhood who will verbally communicate the matter to you.

I Peter Carters case I have read the contract carefully and do still adhere to my decision of late- regarding the tobacco I do not wish you to rush in and pay Carter money for it if you desire to give it him, as his share, do so at the current prices whatever it is worth. I want you to settle with him according to my orders, that is all.

I enclose a certificate, from Mr Mc Geehee as to his views regarding the price of corn, and return contract.

Yours Very Truly

Sir
In the case of Alfred Boyd, I kindly notify you that he has been ordered by me to either refund the money, received from you, in accordance with judgement given against him, or work it out, -however he should not be forced to do it in good weather, when he is compelled to work the plantation of Mr Mitchell as he would be thrown out of his crop, but in case of rain or any inclement weather for farm work, he shall be compelled to make fences. I attach blame to both parties in the case,- you done wrong in paying him before counting the rails. If you are satisfied with a "due bill," take one from him, giving you a lien on his Tobacco crop to the amount adjudged against him.

I am Sir
Very Truly Yours.
