My Dear Parents & Aunt Libbie
I arrived in Liverpool at night on the eighteenth but not being able to get off the steamer till nine oclock the next morning & that being the day the mail steamer left for America I did not have time to get a letter in, so had to let it go till the next steamer which sails tomorrow (Saturday). I had a good voige only it was a little long I being on the water between twelve & thirteen days. We had good weather with the exception of 2 days when it was a little rough & stormy. I was not sea sick, yet can't say I like a sea voige well enough to go for a sailor. I stayed in Liverpool but 1 day as I did not like the city much. I arrived in London last night & write you early this morning. I shall stay here long enough to see a few of the great curiosities & will the go on to Paris when I will write you again giving full particulars of my trip I have not time to write you a long letter now as I would like to, but knowing you will all be quite anxious to hear from me I send this which please forward to Aunt Libbie soon as you have received it.
Afty
