It came out fine. Then I made Theodore's, and it came out even better, I thought, so there was some satisfaction in making it, I got an Easter lily down town for Mrs. Pettengill. She does so many things for me I wanted to do something for her. She seemed pleased with it. Are your violets up yet? I imagine the crocuses are up or soon will be. I saw a very small pink cactus like yours in the florist's the other day. Mrs. P. repotted the little fern you sent her. It has only two small fronds, but a whole bunch of roots. She thought possibly she had it in too large a pot. I hope things are going better with both of you. All good wishes and love, Lena. 13 Pomeworth St., Stoneham, March 24, 1932. Dear Folks, I have just finished a letter to Doris, and will now write to you. Doris sent me a very pretty Easter card. It pictured a large fountain surrounded by flowering plants in the middle of a square, with covered booths about, and a woman in full skirt, apron, head and shoulder drapery standing to one side. I judge it is a European picture.
