I expect will become a poet. The "kiss" of the bee was another instance of her imagination expression.

Mrs. Pettengill's little grandaughter is my cousin too. Her grandmother sent her an electric lamp for a relative. They went up stairs to put it up in her room before she was up, and when it was all lighted, she said, "now we will sit down and read,"and her mother said "and that is what we did, though the dishes were in the sink."
Bunny's birthday comes Sunday or Monday. I am not quite sure which, and I am making her a dress for the occasion.I have worked all day on it and have a lot more to do yet, so I am afraid she may not get it in time. She will be nine years old. Does it seem possible I got a nice letter from her to-day in answer to a little valentine present i gave her. Her penmanship is nothing to boast of, but her composition is good, and she wrote four pages of very interesting matter.
Mrs. Garland has departed for her February meeting, thanks be! She should be named "turmoil", I think. She has a cold, and she has done her darnedest to sprinkle me with the germs. I have a little, but keep enthusiastically gargling, drinking water, etc.,so now that she is gone have hopes of recovery soon. Be as good to yourselves as you can be,and,as Louis says, be careful not to fall. Much love, Lana.
