I think that Doris' baby must be coming. Mrs. Pettengill's little granddaughter is very bright too. She is only two years, four months old, yet she repeats all kinds of nursery rhymes, Stemuson poems, and even some of Hiawatha. At Christmas time she looked thru a Stemusn book until she came to a certain page where she stopped and repeated the poem about the little birdie with the yellow bill. It was the right one too, though this was a new book. I suppose something about the picture made her think it was the poem. And the other day her mother was out walking with her.
