Dear Folks,

It was good to get your letters.  Does it seem possible that November is here and Thanksgiving only a few weeks away?  Wednesday Miss Dawson is going to have a private sale of useful and fancy articles, candy, ice cream and cake. I think that I shall go in and take a little home-made candy for her to sell if she can. I have also written to Jimmie, hoping that she and Mrs. Bishop can come in for a little while. 

I hope that you are getting along well, and that Maud and Ralph have been up to see you to-day. 

The weather is indeed glorious. I get out somewhat, but have a lot to keep me busy inside also. I am glad that you have such good weather to enjoy. With your
