fine yard you can enjoy such days.  Does Mr. Holmes stay out in the little house as much as he used to in the spring and early summer?  I hope that he is taking his Rochelle salts and keeping up his strength.  I plan to be out to see you some time before long now if you want me, but don't hesitate to tell me if you would rather I didn't come.

I hope that Doris won't try to do anything for me at Christmas time this year.  She ought to conserve both her time, strength, and money, after all she has spent of all of them.

Now I must get out with my letters to mail before the collection is made.
