for her action. Now he is allowed to go over the stairs only twice daily, that is twice down and twice up, I believe. His colleagues come in several times a week for instructions and help. I imagine Theodore's extra-hard working days are over, however. In the not too distant future, He is due to receive his retirement pay, I think, and I hope he will feel that he can take it and stop teaching. Like Sid, he will always work, writing books, etc., but in retirement he could let up at any time he did not feel like doing the work. I imagine it is a great relief to him to have the children through school at last, happy as he has been to do all he could for them.

I went to the movies last night. When I started out, I didn't know for sure that I was going. Twice before I had started out with the same idea -to go down to West Newton, and if I like the looks of the name of the picture to go in. Twice I turned back because it was so cold. Last night I made it, however, and went in to see the most glorious picture I think I ever saw - all music with about 15, perhaps more of the top stars of the world,-Lily Pons, Rice Stevens, Damrosch, Jasha Heifetz among others. "Carnegie Hall" was the name, I believe. Voice, violin, cello, piano solos, and then the full orchestras. Mrs.Barry would love it. Probably she has seen it or will when it comes to town.

Does Dorisid get out to see you very often? It is nice fore you that she is so near. Just think, she will soon be a junior! I am glad that she has such pleasant room and such congenial room-mates. She is a social soul, happy to be in company with her own kind. She will get a lot out of college. I am glad there is some one who will. Some of the high school boys and girls around here are a liability, it seems to me.

Here's hoping you are well and getting out to enjoy the flowers, etc.

Love to you both,
Lena
