Dear Mrs. Holmes:

Ever since I got your note enclosed with my check in October, I have been intending to write you, but there are so many things to do!  Business has been pretty brisk this fall.

I got the check you forwarded some weeks ago - rather days.  It was not so large this time as the other was a year or so ago.  I guess somebody got scared and "beared" the market.
