About a week before Christmas I got a box from Doris. It turned out to contain a very very pretty pink silk slip, embroidered at the top in front. Doris always does so much! I have it carefully folded away for a best one. 

I suppose you got your usual big box from Doris. I should like to see all your cards and presents. I had planned to send you some yarn to knit or crochet into a jacket or shawl. I had a pretty orchid Ripple
