Did I write you that Bertha Green's sister lives here, that I looked her up when I first came, and that she helped me find a room and recommended me and help me to the nursing position? She is a very cultured, quiet, sweet, soft-spoken little person. Her husband died last summer, and she is lonesome. She has a nice little house in which she lives, and some other property from which she gets a modest income. She lived in Avon as a young girl.
