Mrs. Smith gives me very good food -- lots of fruit, fruit juices, vegetables, milk, cream, butter, meats, fish, etc. She buys the best of everything. Yesterday and today are very pleasant. I hope you are enjoying the more seasonable warmth. The ground is still parched in spite of the fact that we have had several rains lately. I guess it is dry for so far down that what we get soaks deep down very quickly.
