helped me carry my berries. She would take hers in one hand and mine in the other "to balance hers" and swing along quite unconcerned. I did not let her carry them very far, however. Ralph has picked enough for Florence to can 50 quarts. We have canned some, but not more than 7 1/2 quarts, I believe. 

I came up two weeks ago to-day. I was coming Sat. instead of Monday; but by waiting over, I got a ride up with the Pettengills. Mrs. P.
