Did you see in the papers an account of the big fire we had in Stoneham last night? I was down at the library when the alarm rang in, but I did not even count it. Soon, however, the smoke began to roll over the square, and I decided to step up and see what place was afire. The building was an old wooden 3 1/2 story affair that extended way back and almost touched a huge wooden shoe factory.
