Yours of the 13 received in answer wil say that the three hundred dollar check sent Mr. Wooten is in the hands of Colonel Wilkins & cant be got cashed here at this time. Col Wilkins was waiting until the paymaster came here to pay the troops here and then hoped to get it cashed. can not maj Watson make some arrangement to hav the pay master get the 173$ for him when he comes up here to pay troops. it is in a three hundred dollar check and the onley obsticle is the getting the cash for the check. if you can or Maj Watson wil send a check for 127$ I wil return check for three hundred
