The time has come when we must be able to sit down as we are here today with these wonderful ministers, thought so much of us to come down here, to share with us, to suffer with us.

Because they know that they are not free until we are free. And they know that no American-- I don't care where he is-- is free until all Americans are free.

Until Americans are free in the hills of Mississippi and into the flats of the Delta and in the bayous of Alabama and Arkansas.

No person is free in this country until this stigma can be wiped off of the face of Earth. Away from Mississippi and Arkansas and Alabama, god bless Wallace and the rest of them.

Until they can be converted to be able to respect and receive all of us as individuals and as human beings, then and not until then, will our country be safe.

We, in Mississippi, have vowed that before we would be a slave anymore, we'd be dead and in our grave and go home to our God and be free.
