On their part the freedmen aforesaid agree to work said plantation in the usual manner except so far as modified by the "Regulations of Registry." aforesaid and any military orders and Regulations on the subject those existing or that may hereafter exist on the subject
They agree to labor faithfully and in case they leave, or are discharged for misconduct, they forfeit their share as provided in said agreement of Registry.  The cotton the net proceeds of which are to be divided among and paid said freedmen, is to be gathered, housed, ground and packed and sold separately from other cotton raised on the plantation.  It is to be sold, as soon as it can be convenient, & put in a marketable condition  In case of protracted or repeated illness a deduction is to be made and the subsequent deduction is to be given to the balance of the employees.
  In Testimony whereof the said parties have herewith affixed their names this 26th day of June 1865 at Woodbine Plantation, County of Yazoo, State of Mississippi.
