AGREEMENT WITH FREEDMEN.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 21st day of June A. D. 1865, by and between John Storm of the - of Lawrence, and State of Miss of the first part, and the persons hereinafter named and undersigned, Freedom of the same place, parties hereto of the second part, WITNESSETH;

The undersigned laborers, on .... Plantation, owned by .... hereby agree to work on said Plantation the balance of the year 1865 in consideration of good and wholesome food, clothing. quarters and medical attendance and such other conditions and privileges as are required by General Orders No. 34, Headquarters Department of Mississippi March 23, 1865 and for the following considerations.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the said parties have affixed their names to this agreement at ...  State of Mississippi on the date and aforesaid.
