The State of Mississippi
Jasper County
This agreement entered to this June 19th 1865 between S.W. Jones the above county & state of the first part, and Jerry Dease of the second part Witnesseth that the party of the first part proposes to keep the following named persons & furnish them with clothing food & medical attendance from this date until January next as compensation for their labor from this time until January next. And I the said Jerry Dease the father of said children & husband of Harriet age 30 years Nora aged 15 years Boliver age 12 & 5 small children, do bind myself that all of the above persons that are able to work Shall under the usual amount of labor & a bide by the regulations prescribe in an order eminating from the agent of Freedmans Beauro [[Bureau]] dated June 2nd 1865 from this time until January next
