The State of Mississippi  
Paspin County
This agreement made and entered into this the 19th day of June 1865 between S.M. Jones of the first part and Ike Jones, age 21 years Sam Jones, age 22 & James Jones age 26 of the second part, witnesseth that the party of the first part proposes to Hire the above named Boys from this date until the first day of January next- and for there [[strikethrough]] Services [[/strikethrough]] labor during said time I promise to give Each one 30 Bushels of Corn, food, clothing & medical attendance, And we the parties of the Second part hereby bind ourselves to the party of the first part- to under the usual amount of manual labor from this date until the first day of January next - for the above Specificed Compensation and we further bind ourselves to abide by the regulations prescribe in an order Emanating from the agent of Freedmans Beauro, Maridian Mi'p, bearing date the 2nd day of June 1865- Signed and agreed to presence of W.E.
