pay for the Time that we said Labourers do actually work.  We further agree to work for said Wade Ten hours in summer and Nine in winter per day, and said Wade is to furnish us in clothing and shoes, We agreeing to pay for the same out of our wages, also any other extra's such as flour Sugar Coffee [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] or Tobacco, Wages not being due except clothing &c until the end of this year 1865. And we said labours retain a lean [[lien]] on said crop until said hands are paid off- signed of the first part. L.J. Wade
