The State of Miss Clarke County      
This Obligation made & concluded upon by Bob Dosha and Sarah and Rubin Primes and Ailsy =
Children of Bob Dosha of the first part and Wm J. Merrell planter of the second writes that the said Freedmen of the county & state afforesaid and first part doeth agree Obligate & bind them selves to Labor on the Plantation of the said Wm J. Merrell until the 25th day of December A D 1865 for their clothes and Board as Same as here to fore (as my self & wife
is getting old and my children to young to Labor) and we further more obligate & Bind our Selfs to do our work faithfull and the Said Mr J. Merrell Obligating to Treat them well & in Every Respect to fullfill the orders from the freedmen Bureau in relation to Treatment clothing &c
