[[water damage: emplo]]yers. A failure to comply with this stipulation will be considered as sufficient cause for absolving the agreement, and, the dismissal of the Employees.
3rd. The said F.T. Cooper in consideration of the services above mentioned agrees to furnish comfortable quart [[strikethrough]] for the farm [[/strikethrough]] and food for  the family of said Henry to supply his children Phil and Millie with proper clothing, medicines & medical attention, and to pay him (Henry) ($200) Two Hundred dollars for the remainder of the present year dating from 1st May to 31st December, 1865, for services of himself and family aforesaid.
4th. And it is further agreed that if the said Henry fails to comply with his part of the contract or any member of his said family  fails then the whole may be abrogated, and such portion of his wages deducted as may be just in accordance with this agreement.
