Any one of them who shall fail to work faithfully, or behave properly, or to perform his or her part of this agreement in any respect, or who shall take or injure any of my property, shall upon [cross through] sufficient proof furnished the Provost Marshal, be punished in such manner as he, in his judgment, may deem proper [many cross throughs]
  No physician shall be called to any of said colored persons, at my expense, without an order from me, or some white member of my family: nor must any other expense be incurred by any of them, upon my account, without my express consent: nor must any of them keep any animal, upon my premises, except poultry, without my express permission, nor must any other colored or white person either, be entertained or allowed to remain upon my premises, by any of said colored persons, without my written permission --
  As evidence that I have made and will stand by this agreement on my part, I hereto subscribe my name;
  And as evidence that all the said colored persons have made, and will stand by this agreement on their part
