Agreement between A.R. Manning, planter, and the following- named servants lately belonging to him, viz. Moses & his wife, Glasgow, and their sons Robbins, with his wife Tabby, Dennis with his wife Peggy, Abram  with his wife Laura, and Moseley, March, and Alfred,- also Jack with his wife Mary, Irby with his wife Maria,  for themselves and their children Lewis and Laura, and Anderson, and Prince sons of Maria,- Lee and his wife Caroline, Harriet for herself and her daughter Martha (or Diddle) & son Doctor,- and Isaac and Clayton sons of Harriet, Albert with his wife Docia and their son William, and William's wife Aubrey, for themselves & Salete and Kizzy daughters Aubrey,- and George and his wife Dolly for themselves and their Children, Sukey, Kenny and Matty, Tom and Algernon (brother of George Harriet and Aubrey) and Washington and his wife Ailsey.-
The said servants for themselves and their Children respectively, agree to live and work on the plantation and premises of said Manning, or in his service otherwise,- and faithfully to perform all their duties according to his direction and his rules and regulations for the management of his business, until [[strikethrough]] Christmas next; ——  and said Manning in consideration agrees to furnish them, houses to live in and food and clothing, as heretofore,
