including one new pair of shoes, [[strikethough]]to all over twelve years of age[[/strikethrough]] and to furnish them necessary medicines and medical attention and wood for fuel; And at Christmas we will also divide four hundred bushels of corn and two hundred bushels of sweet potatoes, in such proportions and to such of said servants, as D=H.H.Moore and B. B. Stroup,—or any other person or persons chosen by a majority of the the servants, shall prescribe.— And if any of the before mentioned servants shall fail to sign, or faithfully to perform this agreement, they shall forfeit to said Manning,— the compensation that they would otherwise be respectively, entitled to.
