This agreement made and entered into this the 19th day of June A.D. 1865- between M Pickett and Lane & Pickett his wife of Yazoo County Miss. of the first part and the  persons herein named and undersigned party of the second part of the county and state aforesaid witnesseth that [strikethrough the] for the purpose of cultivating the plantation known as the Wildwoods Place during the year A.D. 1865: and terminating for the on the first day of January A.D. 1866. The party of the first-part do hereby bargain and agree with the party of the second part that they will feed clothe and furnish with medical attention to these their wives and children living with them and good quarters and fuel and give them kind treatment until the first of January A.D. 1866 for and in consideration of the faithful labor of the party of the second part and the labor of their wives and children from the first day of January 1863 to the first day of January 1866.
And the party of the second part for themselves their wives and children do bargain
