Went out with Mr Adams in Afternoon made some [[?]] with him met Mr. W. did not call in evening

To be, or not to be

Wrote all day on the the Justice of the Peace bill in the Afternoon Mr. W called and asked me to go riding with him. Mr. Adams had been talking to him in regard to the letter without any solicitation of mine feel awfully put out over it. In the evening W. came and spoke over the [[affair and their business at one time, now Committee triumphant?]] but I felt he did not want a No. I said Yes. He kissed me good night
