May 28, 1930.

Dear Folks,

This morning I got up early and corrected my papers and caught the 10:40 car for Boston. I had intended to deliver them, get a new load, and go over to visit the Otts, but when I got a lot of 47 from Prof. White (very short ones. He thinks they ought to be counted as 1/4 or 1/3 page each and priced accordingly. He said nothing of all the extra long ones I have done for him but I intend to now that he intends to gip me on these. Any way they are just about as heavy to carry), and 232 from Mr. White who is unusually fine to work for, I just took the quickest and shortest way home again. I got here about 1:15, put my potatoes on to bake and went uptown to get some provisions. I have a lamb stew on cooking now of which I shall partake for a late supper, but I am anxious to get this in to-night's mail, so am postponing eating for the time being.
