[10 Nov. 1929]

Friday Evening.

Dear Folks:

Now before supper I think that I will get a letter off to you, so you will get it tomorrow in time to read and send to Doris if you want to.

Mrs. Pettengill departs this P.M. for her daughter Madeleine's to be gone until Tuesday or Wednesday. She so enjoys going, it is a great pleasure to know that she can. She thinks a great deal of her children, and now there is the baby too. Gordon took her out after he got out of school, but planned to be back about 6 or half past, - that will mean he will drive about 136 miles in 5 hours or less. He is a good driver, however, so I look for him back safe.
