for the baby for years to come, but I thought that if it lasted through this winter and kept her warm and Doris from jumping up nights to see that she was not uncovered it would have fulfilled its mission. Another year something better may be forth coming. While she is so little I thought she might get it wet sometimes so that it would be just as well not to make it too elaborate. It is made to open out without much trouble in case it should need washing or washing only in part. I hope Doris gets her trained to use her chair entirely though It is so easy to train them when they are little, and so difficult to do so once the habit of wetting is established in an older child. I wish that Mrs. Foss got along better with the baby.
