Dear Folks,

A week ago last Sat. I left here for Stoneham where I spent a week. Then I had an upset and came back here again last Saturday, but I am feeling better again now, and so shall probably depart again soon, though I like it in here better. Mrs. Pettengill and the others are just as good as they can be, but they are not much company, for they live downstairs and Miss Garland and I up.  

Miss Garland had a bad cold and cough when I was out
