it is a good buy, but that Mr. Buck won't get his price because the model is an old one, although the car may be better than a new one might be. It looks like new, and it rides beautifully, for I have ridden in it. Enough for that.

I am glad that Doris did not have a hard time when the Baby came. Last time we thought that she was tremendously fortunate; but this time she seems to have an even easier confinement. It certainly seems as though she had been living rightly to have nature treat her so kindly. We should have more like her. Sid would get up here on a trip this summer; but now I am doubtful about it. The things she writes about the baby seem unusually interesting. I guess that you will be glad to have her home with the little granddaughter. The name, too, is well chosen, I think. I am wondering what they will call her, however, in order to avoid confusion.

Will you excuse me to Doris for not writing, for I think you will probably send this on to her. I am all in. Last night I went to bed about 8 o'clock and slept well; but I have been getting only about 4 or five hours sleep each night and those broken up considerably, for I have been having such a bad time with my stomach that I had to keep getting up to get milk or ovaltine or milk and eggs to allay the distress and keep down the gas. Alice was hard on me too. Now with Cynthia and Gordan doing well, I think that I may pick up again.

My sister was over for a few minutes a week ago yesterday. She looks well. She wanted me to go home with her for a few days. I couldn't see how I could.

Look out for yourselves; and don't work too hard. More some other time. Love and all good wishes
Lena
