Dear Folks:

I am wondering if anything more has come up in connection with Fred, Mr. Blake, or Mort Lamb. I certainly hope everything will come out for the best. I am sorry for them all, Johnnie Wayland and Irma too. Your sincere sympathy is helping them as much as anyone not of the immediate family can help, I should think. Fred must find you a rock to anchor to all right. I am wondering if Mr. Blake will get up again. He must be pretty sick. What is the matter with Mort? It seems too bad just when he seemed to see light ahead. Would Johnnie want a housekeeper for a month or so? I know a good, faithful girl whose employers are south now. I hear she would like a place.
