Monday Evening.

Dear Folks,

I thought you would like to know that I got home O K last night. I stopped at the square and got a loaf of bread and 1/4 lb. butter, so we were not out of the necessaries. Before noon an order came from the store and to-night I went down and got a stock of other things, so with our on-hand stuff we are in running order once more. I ate the turkey and home-made bread you gave me before I went to bed, with milk and fruit and sour milk cheese I had a good meal which tasted good in spite of the protests I put up. I want you two out here for Christmas. I am tellin [[telling]] you now so you will get used to the idea. To-day has gone off very well. Just finished a letter to Lula. A little more work, then bed - Thanks and best wishes! Len [[Lena]]
