Dear Folks,

I am going to scribble a few words to-night before getting ready for bed. I intended to write yesterday, but after dinner I went out, and feeling tired decided to take a car ride instead of a walk. The result was that I slept almost all the way in to Sullivan Square. The conductor wouldn't let me ride around the loop, so I got off and went down stairs and up again. Of course I lost the car, but I got another soon to Spot Pond and from there got another back to Stoneham. A week ago I intended to go out to see you, but when I got through in town I was not feeling like making
