I very much enjoy doing, but I could not find time enough for it outside of my regular work. And last week, vacation, when I planned to do so much, I came down with neuritis again, so decided to give over the work.

What are Doris and Sid planning for the trip abroad? I got notice of some special trips yesterday - 24 to 69 days, costing $300 to $690, but, by the time everything extra was paid, I am afraid the amount would be considerably more. I am enclosing the pamphlet, you may like to look at it.

I was out to Jimmie's last week. Her sister, Ida, the mother of 15 children, died in the Homeopathic Hospital a few weeks ago. The last thing, her husband claimed the body and hustled it into the grave as quickly as possible in "order to have it over with." She seemed to have Bright's disease, and shock, together with many other severe ills, at the last. It seemed strange for she looked so well the last time I saw her. I thought of going in to see her, but Jimmie said it would only make me feel badly, and Ida wasn't able to take in much of anything. The autopsy revealed heart trouble, but the hospital report, strangely enough, did not give Bright's disease on it. Jimmie was going to call up and ask about that, as she had understood that was the major difficulty.
